- Gentle pressing of the grapes, then a lengthy, submerged-cap maceration and cool-temperature fermentation. the wine matured 12-18 months in 40hl slavonian oak botti, then a further three months in the bottle.
- Sensory profile
- The wine appears a garnet-flecked deep ruby-red, then offers varietally-faithful scents of sweet violets and pungent underbrush. an elegant, velvet-smooth palate displays sturdy structure and perfectly-calibrated tannins. it is styled to accompany full-flavoured dishes, such as game, red meats, and aged cheeses.
