- The wine appears a purple-flecked ruby red, then offers varietally-faithful scents of sweet violets, flanked by pungent notes of underbrush and black liquorice. The firmly-structured palate is smooth, with supple, refined tannins. It is delicious enjoyed with roasts and grills.
